Thanks Tom. A guy texted me and said he had a 100 hp, thought it was a 60s motor that would shut down to go into reverse. He is going to send me the serial number and some pictures tomorrow to see if I'm interested in it. Thanks for your help Rick

Want to bet it's a Mark 75 or 78 that's been painted black? Someone's calling it a 100 hp because it's black.

Yeah, maybe a DR 800 in the typical repaint of rattle can black!

I am convinced he doesn't know what he has. I asked him about the controls and he said they looked just like I described. He also said the face plate says 1000 on it. :?: He is going to send me pictures tomorrow so I will post them.

I'm curious to see what HE thinks it's worth ….just because it's old.

A 1000 faceplate will fit a 800/700 dockbuster if it found its way there. But if he don’t know
Much about motors it’s probably just a 1000.

If it is a 1000 then it is worth looking at. Good engines.
