Mark 28 powerhead

Will this fit KE7 or KG7 lower section ?

Yes, the bolt pattern will allow it to bolt on however the preference is to use the KE7 tower and foot.

short answer is yes it will fit  and work ......... but shaft is not all the way into the crank  
for best ... drivshaft engagment ,, ke7 leg ... with kg shaft the ke leg is a bit shorter which gives better engagment if using a kg foot or at least the shaft from 1 , or...... lengthen the shaft a bit ..... or shorten the ke leg , or gamble it as is ... several ways to do it

need to lengthen the Drive shaft only has 3/8 in engagement.

KE7 is about .5" shorter than a KGF7. Use KGF7 driveshaft. Measure both legs.
