Mercury back at lake X!

Postby mark 55 » Thu Jul 04, 2019 2:59 am

So the last I heard, the property was sold to a conservation group and the funky tower was gone. Today a co-worker brought in his popular mechanics magazines and I stumbled onto a one page article about how they’re leasing the lake back from the organization and that control tower and boat house are still standing!! Did we discuss this last winter and I missed it all?

The article also says they are manufacturing a v-8 with 300 hp!  icon_wtf.gif

Popular mechanics winter 2018-2019 issue, page 62. The article was written by Ezra Dyer.

Anybody else heard of this already?

Lake X you say?  The kid was there a few weeks ago. Not exactly a luxury resort. Think Jurassic Park after the ice cream melted...BTW they recently unveiled the 450R V8 In Nashville.

That is awesome Chuck! Although that “kid” looks like a full grown man!

That looks like a Suzuki Samurai from the late 80s!
