Tomahawk Side Trip

Postby ctpdsr » Sun Jul 14, 2019 4:55 pm

Gents,

I am anticipating several friends and clients to visit the shop on the way to/from Tomahawk this year to take deliveries and/or discuss future performance builds. All my JOMS friends are welcome and I encourage folks to reach out for details. I am about 25 minutes north of Milwaukee, WI. If you are traveling from the South or East, it's right on the way to Tomahawk. I also have some free stuff that needs a home including a very nice Merc 500 short shaft mid-section and cowls from the 1970's, a similar vintage long shaft gearcase, tower & cowls from a Merc 200, MK78 stainless wrap and other bits. Feel free to PM or call.  Thanks!

Chuck

The 500 was 1974-75ish - blue stripe. Also have some misc electronics from that era.

I believe Wednesday, July 31-Saturday, August 3. My understanding is guys typically get in early and leave early. I figured it made sense to stick close to the shop that week to accommodate various schedules. Show site is about 3 1/2 hrs Northwest of Milwaukee. A nice route from my place takes HWY 60 West and joins the I-90/94 freeway north of Madison. Also, the old Cedarburg plant site is 5 minutes north of my shop.

Chuck, what are those white mercurys? 58As and 400s? I may be able to “take care of those” for you. I know a guy.... :D
