boat explosion

Postby S.B.Marsden » Sun Jul 21, 2019 2:01 am

Not a good day at the Hammondsport NY boat show, was anyone from John's there today.  From what I get the parade was starting and there was a freshly restored Century Coranado, second time in the water and it had got about 75 yards from the shore when it blew up.  Husband and wife were both injured but not life threatening.  Also understand that it ended up sinking.  Can anyone else give any info on this. Thanks, Syd  May our thoughts be with them.

Almost always attend this show but had a graduation party to attend today and didn't go. Thoughts and prayers to all the people involved.

The local Buffalo news station had made mention of it and I wondering whether it happened to an older boat.
