KG7H Video

Postby mercaholic » Fri Aug 16, 2019 2:02 pm

Here is a vid of my buddy's KG7H motor.

He bought it with a scored piston so we installed oem race versions, new seals etc, last winter.   Luckily, we only had to do a hone job.  All else is stock incl the refurbished Bendix ignition.

He's not a light weight and running a vintage C hydro, I didn't expect to see 50 mph.  He tells me that he's only on his 5th tank of regular fuel mix ....

Nice rig. The best I've seen with my KG7H on my 9' 7" Giles hydro is 53mph. (boat was built for my 25SS)

Dave Deck won a heat at Kittanning Pa this weekend with a gorgeous kg7h in APBA sanctioned racing
Approx six boats in the heat I forget what class it was but he smoked 'em pretty good.
Dave also taught the drivers school Friday.

Perhaps eventually more little oily cat footprints will adorn the carpet- and wisdom will be ours

What is Dave's boat number..?   I'm going to guess it's 107-S

The boat below was at our Jesup, GA race last spring and had a lot of fans on shore.
